In Gee Chun is a South Korean professional golfer born on 10 August 1994. She was born in Gusan, North Jeolla Province. She started playing gold when she was 9.

The golfer has won three major championships: the 2022 Women’s PGA Championship, the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, and the 2016 Evian Championship with a score of 21 under par, the lowest winning score in a major for either men or women.

After going pro in 2012, Chun spent her first season playing lower league tours.

An esophageal dilatation was necessary to expand the 27-year-old athlete’s esophagus. In Gee Chun claimed to be recovering after going 10 days without eating anything but baby food. She still doesn’t feel completely well, but she can now eat everything. Chun is still trying to restore her prior strength due to the weight loss induced by the event, which led her to lose muscular mass. The golfer from South Korea spent two days at a hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
