Moreover in June 2013, she started interning in the Brand Marketing Department and worked till September 2013. In her playing career, she was honored as the three-time All-American and had won the 2013 Senior Class Award.

Furthermore, in 2014, Kayla joined ESPN as a college softball analyst, color commentator, and studio analyst, where she covers regular and postseason softball.

Braud was then approached by the ESPN network and positioned as an in-game analyst in 2019. As of now, Kayla is still active on ESPN Network. She is an in-game analyst alongside David Dellucci and hosts Dari Nowkhah in the clubhouse to break down each week of the SEC softball and baseball season.
