He was born in Houston, Texas, in Nesmith and was raised as a single child in the family. Moreover, his father’s name is Warren Audrey Nesmith and his mother’s name is  Bette Nesmith Graham.

Nesmith was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas and he later claimed that he had been discharged after he tipped over a general’s airplane while washing it.

Michael Nesmith, a singer, and guitarist for the famous group the Monkees died Friday, December 10, 2021. Micky Dolenz, Nesmith’s bandmate, confirmed the news to CNN.

What was the cause of his death? According to his manager, Nesmith died of heart failure at his home in Carmel Valley, CA.

However, he had health issues, he was rushed to hospital for quadruple bypass heart surgery. He has died battling cancer.
