As Vallabhbhai Patel’s daughter in the Tamil-Hindi bilingual Hey Ram, which was directed by her father Kamal Haasan and was based on a murder attempt on Mahatma Gandhi, Haasan made her debut in a feature film in 2009.
She made her Telugu debut in January 2011 in the fantasy adventure movie Anaganaga O Dheerudu, which director was Prakash Kovelamudi, the son of K. Raghavendra Rao. She starred opposite Siddharth in the movie.
